The Royal Crescent in Bath, England, stands as a testament to the genius of its architect, John Wood the Younger. Completed in 1774, this sweeping curve of 30 terraced houses is one of the most iconic examples of Georgian architecture in Britain.
Whilst many of the town houses have been converted into multiple dewellings, the exterior of the Royal Crescent remains much as is looked in Georgian times. Photographs and historic narrative regarding the Royal Crescent feature clearly in my photobook: The City of Bath – Enduring Structures and Transient Lives, takes you on a photographic tour through the city.
